Isle of Spirits 灵魂岛

In the year 2018, I moved to China to teach at a Chinese college for nearly 2 years. During my time there, I witnessed some of the most beautiful sights. I visited several UNESCO World Heritage sites, like the Giant Buddha in Leshan, and the Terracotta Army in Xi'an. All of this filled my mind with incredible inspiration that I knew I had to do something with.

This project is the result of that inspiration. Nearly everything you see here is something I witnessed and took photographs of in person, through all of my travels around mainland China. That includes the 4 provinces I traveled in - Sichuan, Shaanxi, Chongqing, and Guizhou.
